Client requested a redesign of their website. They provide student accommodation and have more than 60 properties across Australia and New Zealand, organizing them by three subrands depending on their distance from the campuses. The goal was to design a group portal that displayed all the options and then a standard design for the individual properties.
The challenge was to communicate effectively all the accommodation options to both students and parents, being a big percentage of them foreigners and non native English speakers. The goal was to structure a big amount of information in a clear and visual way, making good use of the young and fun spirit of the brands. Allowing users to find properties nearby their universities without knowing the cities (and sometimes the language) was one of the main pain points. The Unilodge branding guidelines were followed, including colors and rounded rectangles shapes.
I created mockups for desktop, mobile and tablet resolutions for both group site and the individual properties. This included search, map and navigation functionalities.
